Describes Him As The Root, The Backbone And The Moral Compass Of The Adeola Dynasty ILARO, OGUN STATE — The Director General of Yayi Liberator in Ogun State, Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi Olumako, has expressed profound grief over the passing of Elder Chief Michael Adelani Ogundimu, fondly called Baba Yayi, uncle and revered family head of Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, YAYI. Baba Yayi, 85, passed on in the early hours of Tuesday, July 14, 2026, after a brief illness.   Until his death, he was the Family Head of Onibata Family in Ago Isaga Compound, Pahayi Yewa - Ilaro. He was also the Akinrogun of Pahayi Yewa and a former Councillor of Ilaro Ward 1.   OTTA, OGUN STATE  The authentic leadership of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria, AFAN, Ado-Odo/Otta Local Government Chapter has condemned what it called acts of impersonation, greed, and deliberate sabotage by some former state executive members who have refused to vacate office after the expiration of their tenure. In a statement issued to Alagbawi TV on Saturday, the chapter said AFAN remains a non-political and non-partisan association comprising farmers from all political divides. The leadership confirmed that a delegation of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP recently visited the association to seek support ahead of the elections.   ILARO — The Director General of Yayi Liberator in Ogun State, Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi Olumako, has described the stakeholders’ meeting organized by PDP governorship hopeful, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, in Ilaro as a get-together of jobless and hungry people with no political relevance. Olumako, who spoke to journalists in Ilaro on Saturday, said the gathering further exposed LADO’s desperation and lack of grassroots acceptance in Ogun West ahead of the 2027 governorship election. He challenged Adebutu to publish the names of those who attended the meeting if they were truly heavyweights in Ogun West politics. "The heavyweights in Ogun West are in Senator YAYI's camp.
