"GET-TOGETHER OF JOBLESS PEOPLE": YAYI LIBERATOR DG KNOCKS LADO'S ILARO MEETING, SAYS OGUN WEST MONARCHS REJECTED HIS GAMBLING MONEY

ILARO — The Director General of Yayi Liberator in Ogun State, Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi Olumako, has described the stakeholders’ meeting organized by PDP governorship hopeful, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, in Ilaro as a get-together of jobless and hungry people with no political relevance.

Olumako, who spoke to journalists in Ilaro on Saturday, said the gathering further exposed LADO’s desperation and lack of grassroots acceptance in Ogun West ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

He challenged Adebutu to publish the names of those who attended the meeting if they were truly heavyweights in Ogun West politics.

"The heavyweights in Ogun West are in Senator YAYI's camp. What Lado assembled in Ilaro were jobless fellows looking for transport fare. It was a fashion parade, not a political meeting. You cannot import people to Ilaro, feed them, take pictures, and call it Ogun West indigenes. Ogun West people are wiser than that," Olumako said.

The Yayi Liberator DG also commended Ogun West traditional rulers for rejecting Adebutu and his entourage, saying their action sent a clear message to the PDP chieftain.

"Our Kabiyesis did well. By rejecting Lado and his gambling money, they sent a very strong signal that Ogun West has rejected him. They know the difference between a builder and a borrower. They know the difference between someone who brings federal projects and someone who brings freezers only to retrieve them after losing elections," he stated.

Olumako maintained that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, YAYI, remains the only candidate with the capacity, federal reach and track record to lead Ogun State in 2027.

"Lado's structure is hunger. YAYI's structure is performance. Lado's camp is WhatsApp and rented crowd. YAYI's camp is market women, artisans, students, and traditional rulers who are seeing projects. Ogun West will not trade 53 federal projects for a press conference. We will not trade a Senator delivering today for a serial contestant who only appears every 4 years," he added.

He urged the people of Ogun West to ignore what he described as Abeokuta-sponsored noise and continue to support Senator YAYI.

"Ogun West has spoken. The message is clear: Builders, not borrowers. Performers, not gamblers," Olumako concluded.
