One Kidnapper Killed, One Arrested During Gun Battle With Police.

  Barely 24 hrs after two members of a kidnap syndicate were gunned down in Itori area of Ewekoro local government, men of Ogun state police command in another bloody encounter have arrested one member of a kidnap syndicate while one was gunned down at Ilala forest in Imala area of Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state.  The gun battle between the police and the kidnappers was as a result of information received by the police at Imala divisional headquarters that six armed kidnappers were sighted in the forest. Upon the information, the Dpo Imala ddivision, CSP Bernard Ediagbonya quickly mobilized his men, the hunters, vigilante men, so safe corps as well as Fulani youths and stormed the forest. On getting to the scene, the hoodlums, who sighted the team from afar opened fire on them, and the team engaged them in gun duel. Olumako Becomes Life Patron Of Ccc El-morijah Parish Ijaba Ota.

 CCC El-Morijah cathedral Ijaba Ota Ogun state on Sunday 29th August 2021 conferred a life patron award on chief Ibrahim Fayomi (Olumako). At the award presentation ceremony, the pastor in charge of the parish said the award was giving in recognition of chief Fayomi selfless service to humanity and contributions towards the development of the church.  While reacting to the award presentation, chief Ibrahim Fayomi stated that the award came as a surprise to him as he was not informed of such presentation as he was only invited to come and present awards to some awardees.  On getting here, I was told I am also part of the awardees. Two Suspected Kidnappers And Armed Robbers Lost Their Lives In Gun Duel With Police In Ogun.

  Two members of a suspected kidnap syndicate on Sunday 29th of August 2021, lost their lives when they engaged men of Ogun state police command in gun battle in Itori area of Ewekoro local government.  The two suspects met their Waterloo when policemen in Ewekoro divisional headquarters received an information at about 7:30 am, that some armed hoodlums with face mask were sighted hibernating in a bush at the back of ICT polytechnic Itori. Couple with the fact that many suspected kidnappers have been traced to the same forest before, the anti robbery team of Ewekoro division was quickly dispatched to fish out the hoodlums.  On sighting the policemen, the gang opened fire on them and the policemen engaged them in gun battle which lasted for about 40 minutes. A 33 years old man, Imoleayo Adekoya has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command for unlawfully having carnal knowledge of a 27 years old lady (name withheld). The suspect was arrested on Saturday 28th of August 2021,following a report lodged at Sakora divisional headquarters shagamu, by the victim, who complained that while she was coming from Ipoji area, she was accosted by the suspect who accused her of not greeting him. She stated further that she apologized to him not to be annoyed, that it was because she didn't know him. Plateau Massacre: Policemen in Tears as Bodies of Victims Displayed at Govt House

  Two mobile policemen couldn't hold back their tears as bodies of latest attack victims were displayed at the Plateau State Government House on Wednesday, August 25.   Over 30 persons were killed when gunmen suspected to be Fulani militias attacked in the early hours. Angry youths stormed the Plateau Specialist Hospital where the corpses of the victims had been deposited and evacuated them into van.    The protesting youths later proceeded with the corpses to the State House of Assembly blocking all roads leading to the area.   Despite the address by the Speaker of the House who pleaded for calm, the youths were not satisfied with the response and proceeded to the Government House where the corpses of the victims were displayed

In furtherance to bush combing operation in search of kidnappers terrorizing different parts of Ogun state,  men of Ogun state police command in the early hours of Saturday 21st of August 2021, engaged suspected kidnappers in gun duel at Bere forest in Onigaari area along Lagos-Ibadan Express way. This is as a result of information received by the command from members of the public that the AK 47 bearing hoodlums numbering about six were sighted in the forest, possibly waiting for the appropriate time to strike. Upon the information, the commissioner of police CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun quickly deployed the command's tactical teams, coordinated by the DPO Owode Egba division, CSP Olusola Oniyiku  to the forest in search of the hoodlums.   Detectives of Ogun state police command, have arrested four members of a syndicate who specialized in robbing and killing POS and UBER operators.   The suspects, Kehinde Saliu Jelili aka Oluomo, Abiodun Akinola, Johnson Fakeye and Jamiu Akinola were all arrested following a report lodged at Onipanu divisional headquarters on the 18th of April 2021, by one Aanu Salaudeen who reported that, she is a POS attendant to one Abiodun Odebunmi a POS operator, and that her boss left his office at Aparadija the previous day, to meet a customer with a cash sum of four million naira to be used for POS transaction.   The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has appealed to the leadership of the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), to end its ongoing indefinite strike in the interest of the general public. Man hacks into the server of a Nigerian bank, moves N1.87 billion

  Detectives from the Special Fr*ud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have arrested a 35-year-old fr*udster, who hacked into the server of a Nigerian bank to steal N1.87 billion. The suspect, Salau Abdulmalik Femi, who is the kingpin of a syndicate that specialises in hacking into the servers of banks and corporate agencies, was arrested after he hacked the Flex-Cube Universal Banking System (FCUBS) of a first generation bank. The spokesman of SFU, Ikoyi, Lagos, DSP Eyitayo Johnson, in a statement, said the suspect, using application software, created fictitious credits totalling N1.87bn on the accounts of three of the bank’s customers. DSP Johnson said the suspect successfully consummated debits (outflows) amounting to N417.5m through internet banking transfers to other banks. Three Arrested While Looting Company's Warehouse In Ogun

  It was a thug of war last night around past eight as unidentified armed men suspected to be cultist dive into  Mariam street in Ago Iwoye Ogun State and exchange of bullets began. Students, passers-by and residents were left in disarray as everyone took to their heels.  The gun battle lasted for minutes and five students were reportedly shot while one Damola from Plant Science, a 300L student lost his life after he was rejected at an undisclosed hospital.   Operatives of Ogun state police command on Tuesday, 10th of August 2021, apprehended a herdsman who simply identified himself as Mohammed, with one AK 47 riffle.  The suspect was arrested following an information received by the Dpo Imeko divisional headquarters, that two young fulani boys were sighted at CAC Oha forest Iwoye Ketu in Imeko Afon local government area with Ak 47 riffle.  Upon the information, the Dpo quickly mobilized his men, other stakeholders like the hunters, Vigilante men, so safe corps and stormed the said forest.   An administrative staff of college of health technology Olawale Jamiu has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command for having unlawful carnal knowledge of a student of the college (name withheld). The 39 years old randy college staff was arrested following a report lodged at Ilese ijebu divisional headquarters by the management of the college. They reported that the victim was raped when she went to collect her school file from the office of the suspect. On getting there, the suspect dragged the victim into the file room and forcefully had sex with her. Man Arrested For Beating Okada Rider To Death In Ogun

    A 40 years old man Michael Salako was on the 28th of July 2021 arrested by men of Ogun state police command for beating a motorcyclist popularly known as Okada to death at lafenwa area of Abeokuta.  The suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the Dpo Lafenwa divisional headquarters, at about 12 noon, that an Okada rider has been beaten to death at Sanni street, Lafenwa Abeokuta.
