Former governor of Ogun state senator Ibikunle Amosun today paid a condolence visit to the residence the late father of Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun to condole with him over the death of his father. However,

He disappeared without seeing the Governor so as to physically condole with him. After signing the condolence register, Ibikunle Amosun left before the arrival of Governor Dapo Abiodun to his father's house this morning.

  Yomi Adetula, the Director, Anti-Arms Smuggling of the Social Orientation and Safety (So-Safe) Corps in Ogun State, has been murdered by suspected assassins in Idi-Iroko, Ipokia Local Government Area of the state. According to multiple residents of Idi-Iroko, Adetula was in his church, located off Old Baggage Road, Idi-Iroko, when gunmen who were also bearing other dangerous weapons invaded his church minutes after 10am on Sunday, attacking him. “They first shot him but the bullets did not penetrate him,” one resident told FIJ. “They then proceeded to inflict fatal wounds on him with their other weapons, which include hammer and machete. Alake of Ake, Solicitor General Accused of Sponsorship; Governor Abiodun Urged to Intervene In a bold move, the Olota of Otta, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Obalanlege, successfully visited Kajola Iboro on Saturday, October 19, 2024, despite reported attempts to obstruct his visit. The town falls under his jurisdiction within the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.
