"Tractor Tangle: Farmers Cry Foul as Alleged Takeover Threatens Agricultural Progress in Ado-Odo/Ota"
Farmers in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area are seeking intervention from Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan, Yayi, and Governor Dapo Abiodun over concerns about a tractor donated by Senator Yayi.
The farmers, who have been using the tractor for their agricultural activities, are worried about its alleged takeover by Dr. Angel Adelaja Kuye, Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Food, and Security.
The tractor, which was donated to boost farming production in the area, has been a game-changer for local farmers. It has enabled them to cultivate larger areas of land, increase crop yields, and improve food security in the community.
"Since the tractor arrived, we've seen a significant increase in farm output," said a local farmer. "It's helped us plant and harvest crops faster, and we've been able to expand our farms. It's really helped improve our livelihoods."
The farmers are concerned that losing the tractor would negatively impact their agricultural activities and undo the progress made so far.
"We kindly request Senator Yayi and Governor Abiodun to intervene in this matter," the farmers appealed. "The tractor is crucial to our farming activities, and we hope it can be returned to us."
The tractor was part of Senator Yayi's efforts to support farmers in Ogun West Senatorial District through the Renewed Hope Agenda on agriculture and food security.
Efforts to verify the details are ongoing.
