NUJ Ogun State Council Celebrates Senator Salisu's Diamond Jubilee







The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council has joined the chorus of well-wishers celebrating the diamond jubilee of Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu, representing Ogun Central Senatorial District.


In a statement signed by Chairman Com. Wale Olanrewaju and Secretary Com. Bunmi Adigun, the NUJ Ogun State Council acknowledged Senator Salisu's immense contributions to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.


"Senator Salisu's leadership as Chairman of the Senate Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity, as well as Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Media and Publicity, has been exemplary," the statement read. "We commend him for being a silent achiever, dedicating himself to the service of the people at the grassroots."


The NUJ Ogun State Council also expressed gratitude for Senator Salisu's support for the journalism profession, citing his visits to the Council and interactions with journalists in Ogun State.


"We wish Senator Salisu many more years of service to the nation, and we pray that his legacy continues to inspire future generations," the statement concluded.
