"Land Grabber Terror: Victim Brutally Attacked in Ogun State, Demands Justice from IGP Kayode Egbetokun"

A shocking incident of land grabbing has left a man fighting for his life in Araromi village, Sokoto road, Atan Ota, Ogun state. The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, was viciously attacked by alleged land grabbers, known as "ajagungbale," led by Kazeem Solabi and Ibrahim Solabi, a community head in the area.

The attack occurred at the victim's construction site, where bricklayers were working. The land grabbers, armed and dangerous, allegedly ambushed the victim, leaving him with severe injuries. A disturbing video obtained by The Parrot News shows the victim struggling to breathe while recounting the incident.

Despite previously settling the "omo oniles" (landowners) with a payment of N50,000, the land grabbers attacked the victim, sparking outrage in the community. The incident has been reported at the Atan Ota divisional police headquarters, but one of the suspects was released after their "godfather" intervened.

The victim, who fainted while reporting the incident, was rushed to a nearby hospital by the police. He is now seeking justice and calling on the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to take over the case and ensure that justice is served.

The community is demanding justice and adequate protection from the authorities, citing a rise in land grabbing and violence in Ogun state. The victim's plea has sparked outrage, with many calling for urgent action to address the issue.

"We demand justice for the victim and an end to land grabbing terrorism in Ogun state,"* said a community leader. "The authorities must take decisive action to protect our lives and properties."
