Lagos Returnee Senator, Yayi Using DSS, Customs To Harass Indigenes Of Yewa/Awori

For fear of losing the 2023 Ogun west Senatorial election, Lagos Returnee Senator, Olamilekan Adeola, popular as Yayi has started harassing those who are not on his side with men of the Department of State Security and Customs.

News reaching our Correspondent has it that Ibrahim Dende Egungbohun in connivance with Senator Olamilekan Adeola Yayi to ensure the arrest of Alhaji Kamoru Olaifa, popular as Koko, who is perceived not to be doing the biddings of the Lagos Senator, Adola Yayi.

The former were alleged to have written a strong petition against Koko, which prompted his arrest and detention as at press time and all efforts to get him released on bail has proved abortive.

An insider source, who spoke with our Correspondent on the condition of anonymity, lamented that IBD Dende and Oba Olugbenle allowed themselves to be used against their own kinsman  all because of politics and monetary gains.

"IBD Dende and Oba Olugbenle allowed themselves to be used against their own kinsman. Koko was arrested because of the petition written by Yayi and Dende". Our source stressed.

He further said that if the Lagos Senator could fight dirty because someone is not supporting his ambition, then he could even do worse, when he assumes office.

"If Yayi who is not from here could do this, it is obvious that he will do worse if gets chance to be a senator".

Alhaji Kamoru's allies has however, called for his unconditional release as his arrest was politically motivated.
