Ipokia Stands Still For Obanibasiri As Constituents Promise Block Vote For PDP!!!

 





  Just like the proverbial entrance of Jesus Christ into Galilee, indigenes, residents and party loyalists on Thursday, stood still for High Chief Ganiu Adeleke Dada, popular as Obanibasiri during a familiarization tour to the local government. 


  While receiving Obanibasiri and other People’s Democratic Party Chieftains and members at the party secretariat earlier on Thursday, mammoth crowd, who trooped from all the 12 wards of the local government, expressed confidence in the choice of High Chief Ganiu Dada in that ‘there is no better time to come to their rescue than now that they have lost hope in the ruling party at both the state and federal levels. 



 While welcoming High Chief Ganiu Dada, the Senatorial Chairman of PDP in Ogun West, Elder Sunday Soledolu, said that though the meeting was not to campaign, but rather, he would want people to chose whether they would like to continue with the ‘untold hardship which they are currently faced with’ or they would chose otherwise. He assured party members not to panic as there are measures already in place to put the impasse that is currently bedeviling the party in the state into a thing of the past in no distance time. 


 Addressing the gathering amidst songs and fanfare, High Chief Ganiu Dada assured them that he is a good son of Ipokia and that he has been in touch with the ancient town for over 30 years. 


 He enjoined eligible voters to collect whatever financial inducement from whomever that lobby them and vote their conscience in that the money which they are coming to share is their common wealth. 


 High Chief Ganiu Dada assured that when campaign proper starts, he will reel out his plans for the people of Ogun West.  


  Also at the meeting were party faithfuls from across Ado-Odo/Ota local government. 


  While appreciating the visit, leaders of all the 12 wards in the local government, said Ipokia natives and residents have always proven to be true sons and daughters of the soil and will also prove same come 2023 by ensuring that PDP is voted into power.


   The warmth reception and the grand entry is an evidence that High Chief Ganiu Dada will be a candidate to beat at the 2023 polls.

Alake of Ake, Solicitor General Accused of Sponsorship; Governor Abiodun Urged to Intervene In a bold move, the Olota of Otta, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Obalanlege, successfully visited Kajola Iboro on Saturday, October 19, 2024, despite reported attempts to obstruct his visit.
