Breaking: Ondo Poly Students Blocks State Goverment Secretariat In Protest Of Slain Colleague.
Students of the Rufus Giwa Polythecnic Owo in Ondo state are current at the Ondo State government secretariat and have baricaded the entrance to the office of the governor of the state.
The students are protesting the death of one of them simply identified as Kayode who was allegedly killed by men of the Amotekun in the state.
The students have also dropped the body of the deceased at the entrance of the gate which is currently under lock and key. The state commander for Amotekun corp is currently on ground to address the students but the students are not ready to listen while they are asking that the governor come out and address them as they are not ready to leave the secretariat any time soon.
Meanwhile, the students have given the state governments some conditions which includes taking responsibility for all burial rite of the slain student and giving adequate compensation to the parent of the deceased including the prosecution of the officer who killed the said Kayode.
As at times of filling this reports, the students are still on ground protesting to see the governor.
