Ogun West 2023: Yayi Support Group Holds First Public Ramadan Lecture.
A political support group, in Ogun state, DA/YAYI LIBERATORS on Thursday, 28th April 2022 held a public Ramadan lecture in honor of senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi. The lecture which was held in Ota had the presence of some eminent personalities and party leaders within the APC in Ado Odo Ota local government
Some of the party leaders who graced the occasion are, Honourable Kazeem Salako who is popular called, OKS, Honourable Bankole from Ilogbo. Also in attendance at the event were ward chairmen from Ota and Ado Odo.
Other eminent personalities who graced the event are Alhaji Ibrahim Osoja (Sea Never Dry), Alhaji Shamsudeen Taiwo Abatan (Big Mighty) and members of the Achievers Club Of Nigeria which the convener of the group is also the chairman.
Speaking on the topicof the lecture, Impact Of Our Leaders In Ogun West, the guest lecturer, Fadilat Shiek Jamiu Asanbe who is also the Chief imam of Agelente Ikoyi spoke on what politicians must do to earn the deserved respect from their constituents while urging political appointees to always have the fear of God and deliver on whatever promise they make before being appointed, he also stressed on the need for followers not put unnecessary burden on political appointees most especially asking for financial supports for flamboyant parties which may hinder delivery of dividend of democracy to its people.
The guest lecturer also called for support for senator Yayi Ogun west political ambition as the senator is known for good performance even before now. The Imam added that the ambition of Yayi to the people of Ogun West is to bring further development and not to cause disaffection among its constituents.
Prayers were also offered for Nigeria, Ogun State, senator Yayi and the APC.
Giving the vote of thanks, the convener of the group, Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi (Olumako) appreciated party leaders and other important personalities for taking time from their tight schedule to attend the event.
