So Safe Commander After My Life, Man Raises Alarm After Robbers Invaded His Home In Ogun.

Mr Ayokunle Oyewale has called on the inspector general of police to wade into the issue of threat to his life and that of his wife, Ayokunle Funmilola by one Mr Lukman Adebesin who is a So Safe Corp commander in Atan Ota Ogun State.

While narrating his ordeal, Mr Ayokunle said as a business man who needed to employ the services of security personnel, he engaged the service of some So Safe Corp members to his filling station in Oke Ore and Atan Ota through one Mr Job Olori odo who introduced him to Mr Lukman Adebesin as the commander in charge of Atan axis.

After the introduction, I engaged Adebesin and he charged me #150,000 monthly for security men provided including for my private apartment.

After some months, the community head of Oke Ore called me that my security personnel working in my filling station are responsible for cases of robbery in the community and that there was an arrest to that effect.  I told him I only employed them and not responsible for any crime committed by them and that they should contact Adebesin who is their commander.

For the security men deployed to my house, I discovered that they were not coming to work always and at time will wait for me to go to bed while they abandon their duty post.

I complained about this severally to Adebesin but nothing was done until one day i discovered they were no longer coming to work .

I was surprised because I did not owe them salaries. In fact, I added to what we agreed initially. I called one of the guys guiding my house but he refused to pick my calls.

Surprisingly on 9th of September 2021, I was at Oke Ore with my wife, Mrs Oyewale Funmilola and was hungry and wanted to eat something. Around 8pm, I told my wife to go home and prepare something for me to eat. I was expecting her to come back when I received a call that robbers have invaded my house opposite doctor's farm, along Baba Ode Onibuku bus stop, Ogun state and that my wife was being attacked in the process. I called her lines immediately and she was not picking her calls. I called a neighbor to help confirm what was happening at home while I remained on the phone. On getting to my house, my neighbor met my gate opened. He told me my gate was wide opened and that effort to get response from my wife proved abortive. At that point, I decided to drive home but had to plead with a brother to use his car for fear that my car may be easily recognized.

On approaching my gate, I saw three strange guys in a bush adjacent my house and immediately they sight me, they released bullets on my car but I was able to miraculously escape the bullets because they wanted to kill me while they jumped on a waiting motorcycle while trying to escape, I gave them a hot chase.

I did not meet up with them but I recognized the cloth they put on. I had to call on my neighbors to join me for their search and while the search was on, we spotted a motorcycle that was parked while the engine was still working in front of a security house serving the next community to my house.

We looked into the security house but no one responded. We continued our search and discovered that one guy was hiding in the bush around the area. We moved closer and discovered it was one of the guys I saw in the bush adjacent my house and also my former security guard. He was carrying a cross bag we searched the bag and saw a mask, gun and other dangerous weapons which they used to attack my wife.

We interrogate him and he confessed he was the one who robbed my house before I called the police at Onipanu Ota to take over the case.

The case was transferred to the state police headquarters Eleweran and some arrests were made. Those arrested are Olajide Idowu, Makinde Sango, yunusa Taofeek Muritala Anis ere Adegoke Afeez and Bamisebi Femi.

To my surprise, while investigation was going on, Lukman Adebesin connived with the police and released his boys and after their release, the boys came back to shot in front of my house claiming they are back and would show me the stuff they are made off. I was angry about this and had to transfer the case to zone 2 before the guys were re arrested including Adebesin himself.

Since his arrest, high profile persons have been calling me to step down on the case.

My life and that of my wife is in danger, more findings about him reveled that he was also involved in the Oke Ore burgling which the community head can attest to. I later discovered that he was once arrested by the police for illegal revenue collections.

For me to drop a case against someone like that, the security of my wife and mine must be  guaranteed. I hereby call on the inspector general of police to please intervene so that my safety can be guaranteed.
