Otta, Ogun State - In a heartwarming display of commitment to his constituents, Hon. Sherif Abiodun Yusuf, the representative of Ado-Odo/Ota 1 State Constituency, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, distributed various empowerment items to hundreds of party faithfuls at the Otta Recreation Centre. The event, which was graced by the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, was a testament to Hon. Yusuf's dedication to the welfare of his people.


The empowerment programme was attended by prominent leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, including Chief Durojaiye Aiyedogbon and High Chief Waliu Olayiwola Taiwo. These leaders commended Hon. Yusuf for his thoughtful gesture, noting that his commitment to the welfare of his constituents is unparalleled.


The items distributed included grinding machines, deep freezers, generators, sewing machines, cooking gas cylinders, and other essential goods. These items are expected to empower the beneficiaries, mostly women and youth, to start or boost their businesses, thereby improving their economic fortunes.



In his remarks, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide praised Hon. Yusuf for his commitment to the welfare of his constituents, stating that if politicians performed the way Ibeman is performing, there would be no need for change. He urged the people to allow Hon. Yusuf to continue his good work, saying, "If a politician is performing the way Ibeman is, there is no need to change him, his people should allow him to continue."
