We have been made aware of a malicious and deceptive statement released by Cacus 7202, a group falsely claiming to have canvassed votes for our esteemed Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi. This group has the audacity to warn supporters of our distinguished Senator against attending events organized by any other group, claiming they are the only authorized body that can organize events in support of our senator.


Let us be crystal clear: this is a blatant lie, and we will not stand idly by while Cacus 7202 tries to deceive and manipulate innocent people. We challenge them to produce concrete evidence to back up their outlandish claims. Their statement is a gross contradiction to the fundamental right to freedom of association, which they conveniently acknowledged but chose to ignore.


We demand that Cacus 7202 shows pictorial evidence of the grassroots meetings they claim to have held with members, including the number of attendees. Their failure to do so will only confirm their deceitful tactics to register people under false pretenses and later claim to have a large following.


We challenge Cacus 7202 to come to the grassroots level and organize events if they indeed have the numbers they claim to have. Let them show us the proof of their supposed support instead of hiding behind false statements and intimidation tactics.


We warn Cacus 7202 to desist from their deceptive antics immediately. Our senator is a democratic leader who values the support and association of all his constituents, and he has never restricted anyone from organizing events on his behalf. We will not tolerate any attempts to bully or intimidate genuine supporters of our senator.


Let this serve as a stern warning to Cacus 7202: we will not hesitate to expose and take appropriate action against your fraudulent activities if you continue to deceive and manipulate innocent people in our senator's name.
