"Unity and Strength: Yayi Liberators Movement Holds Successful State Exco and Elders' Consultative Meeting in Ogun East





In a landmark event that promises to shape the political landscape of Ogun State, the Yayi Liberators political movement held a state executive and elders' consultative meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in Ogun East senatorial district, Ijebu North local government. The meeting brought together a diverse group of members from Ogun West, Ogun Central, and Ogun East senatorial districts, demonstrating the growing momentum and unity of the movement.


Comrade Ibrahim Fayomi Olumako, the indefatigable and visionary convener of the group, addressed the gathering, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for his unwavering support for Ogun West senatorial district. He praised the governor's tireless efforts to develop the state, highlighting the numerous projects he has initiated across Ogun, including the ongoing construction of major roads, bridges, and healthcare facilities. Comrade Olumako, a renowned grassroots mobilizer and champion of the masses, urged members to work tirelessly to promote Senator Yayi's name in their respective senatorial districts, local governments, wards, and units, emphasizing the need for a unified front to achieve their goals.


Comrade Olumako, a seasoned political strategist and leader, also took the opportunity to extol the virtues of Senator Yayi, citing his impressive track record in Lagos West and Ogun West. He highlighted the numerous projects Senator Yayi has embarked upon since assuming office, demonstrating his commitment to the welfare of his constituents. These projects include the provision of clean water, construction of schools, and empowerment programs for youths and women. Comrade Olumako emphasized that Senator Yayi is a man of his word, delivering on his promises and working tirelessly to improve the lives of those he serves.


Elder Adesanwo, a respected political figure from Ogun East senatorial district, addressed the meeting, expressing his district's readiness to partner with Ogun West to produce the next governor of Ogun state. He drew parallels with the past, recalling how Ogun West helped Governor Olabisi Onabanjo become governor and expressing their willingness to reciprocate the gesture. Elder Adesanwo announced that they have purchased a membership form for Senator Yayi to join the prestigious Ijebu Ode club, a symbol of their appreciation for his dedication to the state.


The meeting was attended by members from all 9 local government areas in Ogun East senatorial district, including Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ijebu North East, Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu, Remo North, Sagamu, and Ogun Waterside. This widespread representation demonstrates the movement's growing influence and acceptance across the senatorial district.


Other members present at the meeting praised Senator Yayi's outstanding performance, expressing their desire to experience his leadership in Ogun East senatorial district. They declared their readiness to support him if he decides to run for the governorship position, citing his proven track record and commitment to the people. They also commended his efforts to empower youths and women, provide infrastructure, and promote education and healthcare.
