Ogun 2027: Yayi Liberators Launches Yayi Project 2027, Declares Support For Yewa/Awori Candidacy.


 




One of the most formidable support groups of senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (YAYI), Yayi Liberators, yesterday 1st of April 2023 converged in the city of Ota to officially kick off the awareness and mobilisation program for the Ogun 2027 governorship race tagged Yayi Liberators project 2027, Yayi on my mind. 


The well attended event had in attendance members and coordinators across Ado Odo Ota local government. The convener of the group, comrade Ibrahim Fayomi populary reffered to as Olumako while addressing crowds gathered, thanked members of the group for a  job well done in the last election and also said another phase is about to kick off with the launch of the group's project 2027 program. 


Comrade Olumako explained that being the first group to have campaigned for senator Yayi in Ado Odo Ota local government and Ogun west senatorial zone, the group has again taking yet another bold step to openly declare support for the 2027 governorship ambition of senator Yayi but this time around, it will not be in Ogun west alone but the three senatorial district in the state. We launched the team for Ogun west today, we will also be unveiling our teams in the other two senatorial district in some weeks time. 


The motives behind such early move Is that we understand that some groups from Ogun central are saying they won't allow Yewa/Awori to produce the next governor in 2027 saying they can't wait for another 16 years. If we look at the sharing formula, it is supposed to be 3 senatorial district but this is not the case as the governorship position has always been shared within only two senatorial zone while Ogun west has always been a second fidel.


What they say is that we don't have capable personality that can emerge as governor. I think with senator Yayi, Yewa/Awori zone is ready to change the narratives. We won't allow them divide us this time around, we will speak with one voice and surely the most competent person for the job is no other person than senator Yayi. As for Yayi Liberators, we won't support any other candidate from any other zone. Our people from Ijebu and Egba are already on ground, they've heard about senator Yayi and Yayi Liberators, they are willing to work with us, we will brainstorm together and see how events unfold but surely our stance is that we will never support any candidate who is not from Ogun West.

Alake of Ake, Solicitor General Accused of Sponsorship; Governor Abiodun Urged to Intervene In a bold move, the Olota of Otta, Oba (Prof) Adeyemi Obalanlege, successfully visited Kajola Iboro on Saturday, October 19, 2024, despite reported attempts to obstruct his visit.
