Ogun West 2023: Olota, Awori Obas, Stakeholders Assures Senator Adeola Of Victory

The Olota of Ota, Oba Professor Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, the Forum of Awori Traditional Rulers and Yewa Obas in Ado Odo Ota LGA have assured Senator Solomon Adeola, the chairman of Senate Committee on Finance and the APC Senatorial Candidate for Ogun West of victory in the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly election based on his antecedents and his good deeds for Ogun West even before becoming the senator of the district. Couple, Six Others Arrested For Killing And Dismembering Of A 26 Years Old Lady In Ogun.

      A couple Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun and Salawa Oyenusi Ajalorun were on Wednesday 4th of January 2023 arrested along with six others namely: Lukman Oladele, Kayode Ibrahim, Bello Akeem, Alebiosu Adebayo, Fatai Rasheed and Fatai Jimoh for kidnapping, killing and dismembering of a 26yrs old mother of two, Oyindamola Adeyemi. The suspects were apprehended following a report lodged at Obalende divisional headquarters; Ijebu-Ode by one Ojo Omolara who reported that her neighbor, Oyindamola Adeyemi left home since morning of Wednesday 28th of December 2022 but didn’t return home and her phone has since then been switched off. Since it is not 24hrs, she was advised to come back.   The Peoples Democratic Party's Candidate in Ogun state, Hon. Ladi Adebutu (Lado), his running mate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade (Tripple A), alongside the Ogun west Senatorial Candidate, Chief Ganiyu Dada (Obanibasiri), and other flag bearers at the 2023 elections in Ogun state, on Wednesday, flagged off the state's campaign in Ipokia local government.   The trail, which had a brief stop at the palace of Oniko of Ikolaje, HRM Oba John, Olakunle Ojo before addressing the waiting crowd that came out in thousands to welcome Hon. Ijagba, Obasanjo Residents Beam For Hope As Obanibasiri Steps In To Reopen Their 'Impassable' Roads

   Indigenes and residents of Ijagba and Obansanjo communities in Ota, yesterday, beamed for hope as the People's Democratic Party's Candidate, Chief Ganiyu Adeleke Dada (Obanibasiri), assured them of reopening their long abandoned roads in a bid to make lives bearable for them after a very long time.   Obanibasiri, while carrying out an 'on spot' assessment of the abandoned Ijagba/Obasanjo/Itele roads in the early hours of Sunday, assured the residents of his readiness to begin grading of the roads, construction of drainages and dredging of nearby river to pave way for smooth passage of flood when it rains.   One of the CDA leaders in the community, who lamented their continued neglect in the area, said, 'they are not willing to allow for another four years of 'unfulfilled promises' as they were 'cajoled' into believing that the roads would be fixed after their election almost four years ago.   He reiterated that the community spent over 3.3 million

Three Arrested For Attempting To Kill A Policeman At Accident Scene.

  Men of Ogun state Police Command on Saturday, 31st of December 2022, arrested three men who made an attempt to kill a police sergeant, Akinpelu Sunday while carrying out his duty at Orile imo, in  Obafemi Owode LG area of Ogun State.  The suspects; Olayiwola Basiru, Bamimore Isiaka and Soliu were arrested when they attacked a policeman and attempted to burn police  towing vehicle so as to prevent investigation into the cause of the accident.  Following the report of an  accident at Orile imo area, a police sergeant attached to the Traffic Section of the Owode Egba Divisional Headquarters was detailed to rescue the victims and recover the vehicles involved to the station.  But on getting to the scene, the suspects attacked the policeman and the towing vehicle driver with sledge hammer, stick and other dangerous weapons in order to prevent them from taking one of the vehicles involved  to the station for further investigation The policeman and the towing vehicle driver managed to escap
