Residents Jump For Joy As Elegushi Of Egushi Otta Awori Kingdom Facilitates Grading Of Egushi Otta Community Roads.


 



Residents of Egushi Otta town, Awori kingdom in Ado Odo Ota local government, Ogun state could not hide their joy as tractors moved into  their communities in order to grade community roads. The project which was facilitated by his royal majesty, Oba Maroof Adio Alagbe, the Elegushi of Egushi Otta Awori kingdom was the first of it kind in the entire community apart from previous community effort which did not spread across the major roads in the area. 



Residents of the area who spoke with Alagbawi TV expressed joy as many said the road had long been in a bad state and as such, most residents who are car owners in the community finds it difficult to navigate through the roads especially during raining season. While speaking with motorcycle operators in the area, they also said grading of the roads at this time is a blessing to riders who earn their daily living on the road as most riders have since relocated to other places due to the bad portions of the road as most riders patronize mechanic workshops on daily basis due to the effect of the bad portions of the road. 

When contacted, the monarch of the town said development is key in order to attract investors into your community, many things will have to be put in place and one of them is good road network. The monarch further stated that good road network will also boost security which is what investors considers before they can establish in a particular area. 

Alagabawi TV further gathered that apart from the road project, other projects are being facilitated by the monarch. Some of the project have been completed and will be commissioned before the end of the year.
