Laralek Under Fire for Shoddy Execution of Critical Infrastructure Project Residents of Ota, Ogun State, have expressed their disappointment and frustration over the substandard drainage work being carried out by Laralek, the federal government contractor handling the Ota-Idiroko road project. The project, awarded to Laralek with the aim of improving the road infrastructure and alleviating traffic congestion, has been plagued by allegations of poor workmanship and substandard materials. "We are shocked and disappointed at the quality of work being done on this project," said Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, a resident of Ota. "The drainage system being put in place is not only substandard but also poses a risk to our safety and well-being."
