Ogun West 2023: Teachers Group In Ado Odo Ota Local Government Declares Supports For Senator Yayi
Teachers in Ado Ota local government under the leadership of comrade Mrs Grace Oluwakemi Oyebanji today held it inauguration. The event which was held at AUD high school Lafenwa Ota had the presence of some notable dignitaries who graced the occasion.
The Onikotun of Otun Ota Awori kingdom the Oba Onikotun of Otun Ota, HRH Oba Akeem Odunaro was Present at the occasion as the royal father of the day while honorable Oluyede Akindele Represented senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan Yayi.
In his word, the Olukotun admonised the teachers not do politics in exchange for money but for the betterment of the teachers in the local government. He emphazised on the need for teachers not to allow politicians use them as just ordinary voters but stakeholders in political affairs stating the before becoming a monarch, he was also a teacher who belonged to different political groups. In his goodwill message, Mrs Ejidele who is also the vice principal of AUD High School Lafenwa Ota, adored the teachers present at the occasion while requesting that the impact of Yayi should be felt in Ogun west, she stated that teachers are not beggars and should not be treated as such.
Also speaking at the occasion,one of the teachers cordinators of Yayi teachers in Ogun west, comrade Olakunle Dare who also doubles as the secretary of the group explained that Yayi is not for a particular set of teachers but for all teachers in Ogun West which also includes private schools and that all members should be

In his words, honorable Oluyede commended the effort of comrade Sunday Odunaro who is the overall cordinator of the group for organising teachers across Ogun west. He said everyone is a politician in his or her feild and for this reason, the teachers should also see themselves as politicians and that they are also member of the APC family. He urged them to work for all APC aspirants in the fourthcoming general election saying they should not be part of any form of factionalisation within the party.
