Revivalistic Atmosphere As Olu Block Foundation Holds Monthly Palliative Distribution Program.

It was like a revival gathering when widows and the less privileged gathered at the secretariat of Olu Block Foundation at 6, Aiyetoro road, Mupin Ota Ogun State yesterday 19th October 2021.

The monthly program which hold on the 17th of every month was moved forward to the 19th because the fixed date fell on a Sunday.

The program started with a praise and worship section before the introduction of members of the foundation board of trustees to the beneficiaries.

The chairman of board of trustee, Olu Block Foundation, Mr Kenneth Blankson was the first to address the mammoth crowd at the event and he was welcomed with some cheering songs from the crowd who are all women.

The event took a turn around when the founder of the foundation, Chief Ibrahim Fayomi (Olumako) was called upon to give his remark.

Rather than give his remark, the founder expressed dissatisfaction with the way the praise and worship section was handled. He further said that the absence of the special ones who did not attend this month's event  was really felt as they would have handled the praise and worship section better.

The event soon turned to a revival ground as women who felt challenged by the founder came out in number to start afresh another praise and worship section while spirit filled songs with clapping familiar the celestial style soon took over the section.

After about an hour of marathon praise, worship and prayer section, the founder, Olumako finally addressed the crowd and in his usual word of admonishment, Olumako  explained that nothing is small to give out and that even the beneficiaries should make it a habit to give from the little they've gotten.

We do this because the bible supports it. We don't get a dime from any politician, some group of people came together and decide to do this every month. I believe with the help of God and your prayer, we shall continue to do according to what we have.

The highlight of the event was the distribution of food palliative to the widows and also some clothing material, bags and shoes which the beneficiaries could not hold their joy on. Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with newsmen after the program expressed happiness and showered rain of prayer on the organizers of the event.
