Itele Ota Obaship Tussle: Dont Turn Itele To A War Zone, Prince Akionla Abayomi Calls For Calm As Race Turns Bloody.

Prince Akinola Abayomi Bamisebi who is one of the leading contestant to ascend the vacant stool of the Onitele Of Itele Ota Awori kingdom and the only candidate who belongs to all seven ruling compounds in Itele Ota has warned that the town should not be turned into a war zone.

On Tuesday 13th October 2021, Adogun Atele family members alleged that thugs attacked some members of the family while monitoring level of job done on the proposed site for a new palace to be used by the family.

while reacting to the ugly incident, Prince Akinola Abayomi called for calm while sounding a warning note to parties involved in the melee not to turn Itele Ota to a war front.

Prince Abayomi however noted that becoming a monarch should not involve bloodshed or violence of any form.

If you truly have the desire to rule a town, it means the development of such town should be your major priority. If you now destroy such town and eventually you get there, you are adding more burdens to what is supposed to be your developmental agenda.

Power belongs to God and he is the only one who can decide who becomes the next Onitele. As for me, I will never apply violence in achieving my aim. I know I am entitled to the throne and will follow due process rather than destroy our forefathers heritage that our generation may not be able to rebuild.

I want to appeal to all the parties involved in this crises to allow peace reign if truly they are so passionate about the development of Itele kingdom.

I also want to appeal to our security agencies to further help forestall any breakdown of law and order in Itele Ota kingdom.

I will be visiting Itele Ota kingdom any moment from now to access situation of things and also to address the good people of the town.
