Don't Drag My Name In The Mud, Awoniyi Tells Baba Ode Community.

Supol Awoniyi has cried out over attempt to drag his name into the mud over allegations he knows nothing about.

According to him, he alleged that landlords in Baba Ode community in Ado Odo local government deliberately dragged his name on a popular radio program on Saturday 4th  September 2021 that he was part of those disturbing the community.

While explaining the true situation of things, supol Awoniyi explained that there was a land grabbing case sometime ago which he was assigned to look into the case which he did accordingly without bias. According to the senior police officer, he explained that he even detailed regular patrol to the area to forestall further breakdown of law and order.

But there was a particular land which measures up to 50 acres which was acquired by a complainant for building of a university in that area, the complainant originally bought the land form land owners before realizing it was owned by the Ogun state government. The complainant further acquired the land from the state government and got all the necessary documents.

On getting to the land, the complainant discovered that the community had encroached on the land which made him report the case to the state government and appropriate action was taken .

If the community claims I sold block to the complainant, is there any crime in that?

They claimed I sold block to owner of the land without doing proper investigation.

if they have any problem with the owner of the land, they should meet him to iron that out instead of trying to drag my name into what I don't know.
