      A couple Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun and Salawa Oyenusi Ajalorun were on Wednesday 4th of January 2023 arrested along with six others namely: Lukman Oladele, Kayode Ibrahim, Bello Akeem, Alebiosu Adebayo, Fatai Rasheed and Fatai Jimoh for kidnapping, killing and dismembering of a 26yrs old mother of two, Oyindamola Adeyemi. The suspects were apprehended following a report lodged at Obalende divisional headquarters; Ijebu-Ode by one Ojo Omolara who reported that her neighbor, Oyindamola Adeyemi left home since morning of Wednesday 28th of December 2022 but didn’t return home and her phone has since then been switched off. Since it is not 24hrs, she was advised to come back. But the following day, been 29th of December 2022, while patrol team from Obalende division were on routine patrol, a dismembered body of a lady was discovered by the road side and the body was taken to a mortuary.   Men of Ogun state Police Command on Saturday, 31st of December 2022, arrested three men who made an attempt to kill a police sergeant, Akinpelu Sunday while carrying out his duty at Orile imo, in  Obafemi Owode LG area of Ogun State.  The suspects; Olayiwola Basiru, Bamimore Isiaka and Soliu were arrested when they attacked a policeman and attempted to burn police  towing vehicle so as to prevent investigation into the cause of the accident.  Following the report of an  accident at Orile imo area, a police sergeant attached to the Traffic Section of the Owode Egba Divisional Headquarters was detailed to rescue the victims and recover the vehicles involved to the station.  But on getting to the scene, the suspects attacked the policeman and the towing vehicle driver with sledge hammer, stick and other dangerous weapons in order to prevent them from taking one of the vehicles involved  to the station for further investigation The policeman and the...

  Residents of Egushi Otta town, Awori kingdom in Ado Odo Ota local government, Ogun state could not hide their joy as tractors moved into  their communities in order to grade community roads. The project which was facilitated by his royal majesty, Oba Maroof Adio Alagbe, the Elegushi of Egushi Otta Awori kingdom was the first of it kind in the entire community apart from previous community effort which did not spread across the major roads in the area.  Residents of the area who spoke with Alagbawi TV expressed joy as many said the road had long been in a bad state and as such, most residents who are car owners in the community finds it difficult to navigate through the roads especially during raining season.   A 27 years old Yahoo boy, Obeta John, was on Tuesday 29th of November 2022, arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command for killing his girlfriend, one Idowu Buhari an HND1 Mass Communication student of Gateway polytechnic Saapade. The suspect was arrested following a distress call received at Ode -Remo divisional headquarters, that the suspect, who reside at No 3, Mojubade compound, Eredu Ishara, locked himself and his girlfriend inside his room and had started beating the girl and hitting her head against the wall, and all efforts made to persuade him to open the door proved abortive .
