    A robbery suspect, who used to dress like hersman while operating had been arrested by men of Ogun state police command.  The suspect, Biodun Rasheed was arrested on Wednesday, 24th of November, 2021, following a distress call received by policemen attached to Kemta divisional headquarters at about 3:30 am that robbers were operating at mile 6 along Ajebo road Abeokuta.  Upon the distress call, the Dpo Kemta division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, quickly mobilized his patrol team who were joined by men of so safe corps and vigilante group of Nigeria and moved to the scene.  On sighting the security men, the robbers took to their heels, but they were hotly chased and one of them Biodun Rasheed, who dressed like fulani herdsmen to hid his identity was arrested on the spot.  He is currently helping the police in their efforts to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.  Meanwhile, the commissioner of police CP Lanre Bankole has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to state crimina

  Mr Ayokunle Oyewale has called on the inspector general of police to wade into the issue of threat to his life and that of his wife, Ayokunle Funmilola by one Mr Lukman Adebesin who is a So Safe Corp commander in Atan Ota Ogun State.  While narrating his ordeal, Mr Ayokunle said as a business man who needed to employ the services of security personnel, he engaged the service of some So Safe Corp members to his filling station in Oke Ore and Atan Ota through one Mr Job Olori odo who introduced him to Mr Lukman Adebesin as the commander in charge of Atan axis.  After the introduction, I engaged Adebesin and he charged me #150,000 monthly for security men provided including for my private apartment. After some months, the community head of Oke Ore called me that my security personnel working in my filling station are responsible for cases of robbery in the community and that there was an arrest to that effect.  I told him I only employed them and not responsible for any crime committed

  The Chief Convener, Yayi Liberators political support group has sent his congratulatory message to senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi) as preparations are in top gear ahead of the senator's installation as the Aare Gbobaniyi Of Ilaro Yewa and the Aremo Of Yewa land. The event which is scheduled to hold on December 4 2021 will take place at the palace of the paramount ruler of Yewa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olugbenle.  In his congratulatory message, Olumako stated that the chieftaincy titles are the result of service to humanity and that it is coming at the right time.  He further stated that those who are against the conferment of the titles are agents of failure and are doing so because they are aware that they've been rejected by their constituents.  Olumako also thanked Olu Of Ilaro and the paramount ruler of Yewa Land, Oba Olugbenle for standing firm on his feet despite pressure from disgruntled power hungry political elements.

Three members of kidnap syndicates were on Tuesday 9th of November 2021 arrested by operatives of Ogun state police command in conjunction with men of 35 artillery brigade Alamala and men of So Safe Corps.  The suspects, Abubakar Sodiq m' 26yrs, Ibrahim Kuaki m' 24 yrs and Muhammadu Dio m' 22 yrs were arrested following a report lodged at Ilupeju divisional headquarters that two men, who had gone to work at Abule Oba Alamala along Ayetoro road were kidnapped by some gunmen.  Upon the report, the DPO Sabo Ilupeju mobilized his men in collaboration with men of Nigeria army and So Safe Corps and they jointly embarked on aggressive bush combing in search of the victims and the suspects.  While the exercise was going on, the operatives received information that the suspects have contacted the families of the victims and asked them to bring ransom money somewhere in the area.  Having received the information, the operatives swiftly moved to the area and laid ambush for the hoodlu

  A 48 years old butcher Segun Taiwo has been arrested by men of Ogun state police command in connection with the death of his 50 years old woman friend Abimbola Olusola whose corpse was found by the road side at Aro area of Abeokuta.  The suspect was arrested following an information received at Lafenwa divisional headquarters, that  a woman corpse was seen lying on the road side at Aro area of Abeokuta.  Upon the information, the Dpo lafenwa despatched his men to the scene, where the corpse was recovered and deposited at the mortuary.  The case was subsequently transferred to state criminal investigation and intelligence department on the order of the commissioner of police CP Lanre Bankole for discreet investigation.   One of the leading contestants vying for the vacant stool of Onitele of Itele Awori Kingdom, Prince Akionla Abayomi has said some confused set of people who claims to be drumming support for Demola Eletu to become the next monarch of Itele Awori Kingdom are already playing to the gallery.  Prince Abayomi made this known while responding to some questions which was directed to him on a Facebook page, Itele Awori by one faceless Babatunde Akapo and Adekunle Farombi.
