Police Arrest Woman For Stabbing Daughter To Death In Ogun

  Men of Ogun state police command on 27th of July 2021, arrested a 45 years old woman, Kafayat Lawal, for beating her 17 years old daughter Ayomide Adekoya to death.  The suspect was arrested following an information received by the Dpo Ogijo divisional headquarters CSP Mohammed Suleman Baba at about 2;30 pm, that the suspect locked her two daughters in a room where she beat and injured them with broken bottle.  Upon the information, the Dpo mobilized his men and moved to the scene where the two victims were rescued and taken to hospital for treatment before one of them gave up the ghost.  The suspect was then arrested and taken to custody. On interrogation, the suspect who claimed to have separated from her husband nine years ago informed the police that her two daughters left home during the Salah and didn't returned till following day. Police Arrest Sales Boy for Planning Boss Robbery In Ogun

    Men of Ogun state police command on the 27th of July 2021 arrested one Lucky Otuonye who organized armed robbers to rob the shop where he is working as a salesman.  The suspect and two others namely; Chinedu Peter and Matthew Igwe were arrested following a distress call received by the Dpo Ago iwoye division, csp Paul Omiwole, that robbers have invaded Abuking Electronic Shop at Olopomerin area of Ago iwoye.  Upon the distress call, the Dpo and his men swiftly moved to the scene, but the robbers who stabbed the salesman on his left hand have escaped with a 32inch LG plasma television before the arrival of the policemen.  The salesman, Lucky Otuonye was quickly taken to hospital for treatment while all the adjoining stations in the area were alerted to be on lookout for the fleeing suspects  Some hours after, members of hunters group saw the two men with a plasma television in Awa ijebu, and they quickly informed the police who promptly arrested them in Awa ijebu. Police Arrest Boy18 For Stabbing Prostitute To Death In Ogun

  Police operatives in Ogun state have apprehended an eighteen year old boy, Jamiu Malomo, who murdered a 28 years old lady Azeezat Akande in cold blood.  The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Adatan divisional headquarters by the chairman, Ilupeju community, oke Aregba Abeokuta that they woke up in the morning of Sunday 18th of July 2021 to discover a lifeless body of a young lady, who was stabbed to death on a rock in the area, with a knife soaked with blood beside her.  Upon the report, the Dpo Adatan division, SP Abiodun Salau and his detectives moved to the scene from where the corpse was moved to state hospital Ijaye mortuary.  The Dpo and his crack detectives there and then embarked on intelligence and forensic investigations to unravel the mystery behind the gruesome murder of the deceased.  Their efforts paid off, when they received an information that the person who was seen last with the deceased has been sighted at about 11:45 pm of Thursday 22nd of July 202

Police Burst Robbery Gang In Ogun, Recover Arms, Stolen Item

Operatives of Ogun state police command on Sunday 25th of July 2021 apprehended two armed robbery suspects while carrying out robbery operation in Agbara area of Ado odo ota local government  of Ogun state.  The suspects, Olanrewaju Sikiru 28 years and Olayemi Obisesan 25 years, were arrested following a distress call received by the Dpo Agbara division, SP Saleh Dahiru at about 1:30 am, that armed robbers have invaded Area 8 OPIC estate Agbara and were terrorizing the residents of the estate.  Upon the distress call, the Dpo quickly mobilized his men and moved to the scene. On sighting the policemen, the robbers opened fire on them and the team retaliated.   A suspected kidnapper of a military officer was on the 17th of July 2021 arrested by operatives of Ogun state police command at Odo pako Ota, in Ado odo ota local government area of Ogun state. The suspect Waliu Oloyede was arrested following a distress call received by the DPO Sango ota divisional headquarters, CSP Godwin Idehai that Vigilante men are having issues with an army officer at odo pako area of ota, upon the report, the DPO led his team to the scene where the suspect, who dressed in full military camouflage uniform with the rank of W02 but could not give satisfactory account of himself was apprehended and brought to the station. Four cultists Arrested During Supremacy Battle In Ogun

  Four members of dreaded cult group were on 17th of July 2021 arrested by men of Ogun state police command during supremacy battle between Aye and Eiye confraternity in Atan ota area of Ogun state.  The suspects, Olusegun Owoola 26, Gbenga Akinkade 34, Jinadu Waliu 30 and Sanni Hammed 27 were arrested following a distress call received by the Dpo Atan ota division Csp Abolade Oladigbolu at about 4am of the date that the two groups are on rampage at Hotel road area Atan ota, and that there is sporadic gunshots in the area.  Upon the distress call, the Dpo mobilized his men and moved to the scene where they met the two groups engaging themselves in serious gun battle. Man Arrested For Blackmailing Victim After Collecting 7 Million Naira

A 25yrs old man, Adetoro Kazeem, a resident of No 2, Paara street Alakia area of Ibadan has been arrested by operatives of Ogun state police command for blackmailing and extortion.  The suspect was arrested  following a report by one Gloria Ogunnupebi, who reported at Obalende divisional headquarters ijebu ode that, in the month of May 2021, she received a message from a strange foreign number via a voice note on her WhatsApp that  she should send the sum of two hundred thousand naira or else her nude picture will be uploaded on social media for public consumption.  She stated further that, to prevent the caller from exposing her to moral and public ridicule, she sent the said amount to him, with the hope that everything is over.  But surprisingly, the person continue demanding for money from her every two weeks, and that she has extorted her up to the tune of seven million, three hundred and sixty three thousand, nine hundred naira (#7,363,900).
