Ogun Police Arrests Couple For Human Trafficking.

  . A couple ,Godday and Ebere Samuel have been arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command on the 17th of October 2023 for human trafficking.  The suspects were arrested following a report lodged at Atan ota divisional headquarters by one Adeniji Okikiolu, who reported that his 16 years old daughter, Maria Adeniji suddenly disappeared from home on the 16th of October 2022, and while search party was organized to look for her, he was informed by someone that the missing girl was seen with Ebere Samuel on the previous day.  Upon the information, Ebere Samuel was invited to the station, but she vehemently denied ever seen the missing girl on or before that day. Not satisfied with her plea of alibi, she was subsequently detained at the station .  But surprisingly, when her husband was contacted, the husband confessed to have taken the missing Maria to somewhere in Lagos for onward transportation to Burkina faso where she will be engaged as a maid to one of their associates.  Preliminary

39 YEARS OLD MAN IN POLICE NET FOR IMPREGNATING HIS 13 YEARS OLD DAUGHTER.

  A 39 years old man Mfon Jeremiah a resident of FIRRO Estate off Adesan ,Mowe has been arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command for impregnating his 13 years old biological daughter(name withheld). The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Mowe divisional headquarters by the mother of the victim who reported that, she discovered that her daughter was pregnant, and when she inquired from the daughter, she was informed that it was her father who slept with her.  The victim was taken to the hospital where  it was confirmed that, she is four months pregnant.  Upon the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, quickly detailed detectives to the suspect's house where he was promptly arrested.  On interrogation, the suspect confessed been responsible for his daughter's pregnancy, but claimed to be under spell when he did it. 51 YEARS OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR BEATING HIS WIFE TO DEATH IN OGUN.

  Men of Ogun state Police Command on the 12th of October 2022 arrested a 51 years old man Oluranti Badejo for beating his 40 years old wife Folasade Badejo to death.  The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Mowe divisional headquarters by the younger sister of the deceased,  who reported that she received an information from her elder sister's daughter that her elder sister who lives with her husband at NO 7, Madam Felicia street, Orimerunmu, Mowe has been beaten to death by her husband.  Upon the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo, quickly dispatched the divisional detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested.  The lifeless body of the victim was there and then evacuated to the mortuary in Shagamu for post mortem examination.  Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect strangled the deceased during a scuffle as a result of minor disagreement.  Having realized that he has killed his wife,  the suspect used hot iron to burn

23 YEARS OLD BOY ARRESTED WITH FOUR OTHERS FOR FAKING HIS OWN KIDNAP.

  A 23 years old boy, Edward Okache was on 10th of October 2022 arrested with four others namely; Asamoah Ernest, Isiah Uti, Ephraim Anyijor and charity Lukpata for faking his own kidnap. The suspects were arrested following a report lodged at Mowe divisional headquarters by one Comfort Okache who reported via phone call that his younger brother who traveled from Calabar to Lagos was kidnapped around Mowe area of Ogun state, and that the kidnappers were demanding for #10 million if the relations want to see the boy alive.   Upon the report, the DPO Mowe division, SP Folake Afeniforo mobilized the division's tactical teams and moved to the area. OGUN POLICE ARRESTS THREE MEN FOR ATTEMPTING TO KIDNAP THEIR FORMER EMPLOYER.

  Men of Ogun state Police Command have arrested three men for attempting to kidnap their former employer in Ijebu ode area of Ogun state.  The three suspects, Peter Nse 24 years, Chuckwuma Nwobodo 48 years and Michael Umanah 30 years  were arrested following a complain lodged at Igbeba divisional headquarters by one Ifenuga Olayinka, who reported that he received a text message his phone from someone who described himself as a "' Killer Vagabond of Africa "". In the said message, the author directed the complainant to pay the sum of #5 million into a bank account he sent to him or risk been kidnapped within the shortest possible time.  Upon the report, the DPO Igbeba division, CSP Musiliu Doga detailed his detectives to unravel those behind the devilish message.  The detectives there and then embarked on technical and intelligence based investigation which led them to Anambra state where two of the suspects namely Peter Nse and Chuckwuma Nwobodo were arrested.  Thei

THREE BROTHERS, ONE OTHER ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY IN IJEBU ODE.

  Operatives of Ogun state Police Command have arrested three brothers and one other for carrying out  series of robbery operation in ijebu ode area of Ogun state.  The suspects, Hammed Jagbojagbo, Idris Jagbojagbo , Tobi Jagbojagbo and Tosin Ogundeko were arrested following a distress call received at Igbeba divisional headquarters that armed robbers have invaded the shop of a premier lotto agent at Odi olowo area of Ijebu Ode and robbed the agent of #90000 .  The robbers also snatched a bajaj motorcycle belonging to one Clement Conleth. Upon the distress call, the DPO Igbeba division, CSP Musiliu Doga quickly led his patrol team to the scene, gave the robbers a hot chase and succeeded in arresting one of them by name Tosin Ogundeko from whom the Bajaj motorcycle was recovered.  The arrested Tosin Ogundeko subsequently led detectives to their hideout in Epe Lagos state where the remaining three were apprehended, while one of them simply identified as Tosin a.k.a socket escaped.  On in

Court nullifies Akinlade's election as APC Reps candidate

  A Federal High Court sitting in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Thursday nullified the election of Hon. Isiaka Abiodun Akinlade as House of Representatives candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) for Yewa South and Ipokia Federal Constituency. The presiding Justice O.O.Oguntoyinbo also declared as "irregular, null and void" the nomination of Isiaq Akinlade by the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Court held that Akinlade never paid for an expression interest form or was screened by APC within the time prescribed by the party in respect of National Assembly primary election. The Court also ordered fresh primary within 40 days to select and nominate candidate for Yewa South and Ipokia Federal Constituency seat 2023. It barred Akinlade from further participating in the ordered fresh primary election.
