Yewa/Awori Governorship Race: Time To Forget About Bitter Politics.

  As the cause to liberate Yewa/Awori continues, we must be careful of the steps we take today so as not to affect the political future of the zone most especially a senatorial district that is known to be a second fiddle in the political affairs of Ogun state.  Since the inception of Ogun state over 40 years ago, Ogun west senatorial district which is made up of the Yewa and Awori tribe, is yet to produce a governor while other tribes, the Egbas and the Ijebu's have handed over the batton to each other like running a 4x400 metre relay race. The only position deemed fit for us have been the second in command which we still occupy till date.  Recently, political gladiators and true sons of Yewa/Awori have come out to clamour for change of Status from being a second fiddle to one of the rulling elites in Ogun state. Police Arrests Two For Kidnapping Pastor In Ogun.

  Men of Ogun state Police Command on the early hour of Thursday 14th of July 2022, arrested two persons in connection with the forceful abduction of one Pastor Mapai Samuel of ZOE family international church, located at Odo eran area of Abeokuta. The suspects, Ibikunle Opeyemi 'F' and Kadiri Jamiu M' were arrested following a distress call received by policemen at Aregbe divisional headquarters, that two men who dressed in military camouflage accompanied by a woman invaded the church while the pastor was preaching at about 8 pm, and forcefully dragged the pastor out of the Church and took him away to unknown destination. Not quite long after taken the pastor away, the invaders called to demand for certain amount of money as ransom. Upon the distress call, the DPO Aregbe division, CSP Ikechukwu Gabriel and his detectives quickly embarked on technical and intelligence based investigation and discovered that the suspects were hiding somewhere around Adigbe area of Abeokuta. Police Arrest Kuje Prison Escapee In Sango Ota Ogun State.

  One of the Kuje Correctional Center escapees was on Monday 11th of July 2022 arrested by operatives of Ogun state Police Command. The escapee, 28year old Yakubu AbdulMumuni was arrested following an information received by policemen at Sango ota divisional headquarters that, the convict was sighted somewhere around Sango Ota.  Upon the information, the DPO Sango ota division, SP Saleh Dahiru quickly moblised his men and moved to the area where the convict was apprehended. He confessed to the Police that he escaped from Kuje Correctional Center on the 5th of July 2022, when the Center was attacked by bandits. He stated further that he was convicted by Kogi state High Court for offence of Conspiracy and culpable Homicide and sent to Kuje Correctional Center. Meanwhile, the commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole has ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department to facilitate the transfer of the convict to Correctional Center with immediate effect.

Yayi Gifts Support Group, Yayi Liberators Over Hundred Bags Of Rice For Sallah Celebration.

In the spirit of Sallah celebreation, Senator  Solomon Adeola Olamilekan popular known as YAYI has reached out to one of his strongest political support groups in Ogun West senatorial district, Yayi Liberators. While felicitating with the group on this year's sallah celebration, the senator gave the group over a hundred bags of rice. Making this known, the convener of the group, Olumako while addresing journalist said the gesture from the senator was expected as he's known to be a philantrophist and has always reached out to the group on every festive season. Olumako further said that the distribution will go round all members across the senatorial district as the group is not only popular in Ado Odo Ota alone but across all the five local governments areas in Ogun west senatorial district.  This gesture really means a lot to the group, apart from showing that our senator is with us, it is also a source of motivation for us to work more in order to deliver the Ogun west mandate

Breaking: Ondo Poly Students Blocks State Goverment Secretariat In Protest Of Slain Colleague.

  Students of the Rufus Giwa Polythecnic Owo in Ondo state are current at the Ondo State government secretariat and have baricaded the entrance to the office of the governor of the state.  The students are protesting the death of one of them simply identified as Kayode who was allegedly killed by men of the Amotekun in the state.  The students have also dropped the body of the deceased at the entrance of the gate which is currently under lock and key. The state commander for Amotekun corp is currently on ground to address the students but the students are not ready to listen while they are asking that the governor come out and address them as they are not ready to leave the secretariat any time soon.  Meanwhile, the students have given the state governments some conditions which includes taking responsibility for all burial rite of the slain student and giving adequate compensation to the parent of the deceased including the prosecution of the officer who killed the said Kayode.  As at
