Yahoo Boy Arrested For Killing His Undergraduate Girlfriend In Ogun.

  A 27 years old Yahoo boy, Obeta John, was on Tuesday 29th of November 2022, arrested by men of Ogun state Police Command for killing his girlfriend, one Idowu Buhari an HND1 Mass Communication student of Gateway polytechnic Saapade. The suspect was arrested following a distress call received at Ode -Remo divisional headquarters, that the suspect, who reside at No 3, Mojubade compound, Eredu Ishara, locked himself and his girlfriend inside his room and had started beating the girl and hitting her head against the wall, and all efforts made to persuade him to open the door proved abortive . Upon the distress call, the DPO Ode-remo division, CSP Fasogbon Olayemi quickly led his men to the scene where they met the victim in the pool of her blood after forcing the door opened.   The victim was quickly rushed to State Hospital Ishara,but was pronounced dead by doctor on duty.  The suspect an indigine of Enugu state was promptly arrested and taken to custody.  On interrogation, the suspect,

Suspected Ritualist Murder 10 Years Old Girl In Ogun.

  Tragedy struck in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota local government area of Ogun State when suspected ritualists reportedly killed a 10-year-old girl, whose parents are from Togo. The incident happened around 7 am on Thursday at Kilani Street, Iyana Iyesi area of Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state. It was gathered that a friend of the victim’s mother who was a neighbour sent the girl to her home to get charcoal. But, on getting to the house, the girl sighted some hoodlums who had broken into the house, carting away some property. It was further gathered that the attempt by the girl to run away having seen and identified them failed as they reportedly held her and killed her with a pestle. A neighbour who pleaded anonymity said the killers were suspected ritualists who had hidden somewhere in the building, attacked her and smashed her head with a pestle. Couple, One Other Arrested In Connection With Kidnapping And Killing Of A Popular Hotelier In Ogun.

    Operatives of Ogun state Police Command have arrested one Larry Adebayo Adewumi and his wife Okereke Olufunmilayo with one Adebowale Sanni over the abduction and killing of a popular hotelier, Otunba Abayomi Ajayi Smith, the Director of Rolak Hotel Ijebu Ode.  Otunba Ajayi Smith was kidnapped on the 28th of September 2020 at about 7:30 am, at Anifowose Estate igbeba, Ijebu Ode by some gunmen.  On receiving the information about the kidnap, men of Anti kidnapping unit were then mobilized to commence investigation, but all efforts to get the victim out of captivity proved abortive, despite the fact that the victim's family paid a ransome of 15 million naira to the abductors.  Since then, police operatives have not relent in their efforts to fish out those behind the devilish act. Ogun Police Arrests Four Notorious Kidnappers Terrorizing Abeokuta And Its Environs.

    Four members of a notorious kidnap gang terrorizing Abeokuta and its environs have been apprehended by operatives of Ogun state Police Command.  The suspects, Ismaila Ibrahim 21yrs, Musa Muhammed 26yrs, Irekura Abu 43 yrs and Okanlawon Muhammed 26yrs were arrested following series of kidnap cases at Soyooye and Ibara Orile area of Abeokuta.  Having received reports of kidnap cases in the aforementioned area, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, directed the Anti kidnapping team to move into the area and fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act. Pastor, Two Others Arrested For Killing A 39 Years Old Man.

  Men of Ogun state Police Command on Saturday 19th of November 2022, arrested one pastor and two others for abducting and killing a 39 years old man Adekunle Muyiwa and dismembered his body for ritual purpose.  The suspects, Idowu Abel, Clement Adeniyi and Pastor Felix Ajadi were arrested following a report lodged at Owode Yewa divisional headquarters on the 15th of November 2022 by one Oluwaseyi Adekunle, the elder brother of the victim, who reported that his younger brother left home since 10th of November 2022 and didn't return since then . Upon the report, the DPO Owode Yewa division, CSP Mohammed S.
